Stupid motto for this season. Glad to see it die off. Makes it seem as if Dart and some others are our last hope for success. I know it’s not meant that way, but I can laugh about it now after the UK/LSU games.

We will be rebuilding after this year for sure, but these past two seasons are not “the ceiling” for Ole Miss. You are a loser if you think this way.

The last dance may be soon for some of these high dollar NIL guys who’re going pro after the season

They may make their business decision once we are full on eliminated and leave

idk how the nil deals work but there needs to be a stipulation in every one of the deals that says you can’t sit out and still get paid (or have some phantom injury which they’ll inevitably say they have)

Dart is better than Bo but below both Kelly and Corral. He’s a slightly above average SEC QB but nothing special

How do you guys feel about Ole Miss and their portal approach? Is that still perceived as Ole Miss’ best route to be in contention?

I felt like Freeze proved that Ole Miss can sign top high school kids. With State falling behind I think it’s crazy Ole Miss doesn’t break the bank going after the top 10 Mississippi kids. You sign them and kids from Georgia and Florida and should field a solid team.

Also Ole Miss could reinforce state ties if Deboer ends up being a bust. I think he’s a good coach but it may very well be a bad fit.

Lane has never been a good recruiter. Too much autism to connect with real people

We are perfectly capable of it but Kiffin refuses to do it, he’s got it in his mind that our resources are best spent on the portal and retention. We can’t develop our own talent for shite due to his garbage assistant hires so until he fixes that maybe he’s right lol. High school coaches are drama queens and have over inflated egos so you have to take it with a grain of salt but coaches across the state have said Kiffin puts in zero effort when it comes to recruiting.

If Carter nails the next hire then I’d be good with it, I think we’ve hit our ceiling with him.

Well, to be fair, 10-2 is the ceiling and then some for almost all of college football. It’s just got to be the right combination of losses.

I think the first call should be the Iowa state coach, Campbell. The Liberty coach shows a lot of promise but you never know with mid major guys. When LSU passed on Napier I was sweating bullets LSU might have made a critical mistake. Napier’s resume was flawless before he got to Florida so I’m genuinely shocked he’s been that bad at Florida.

Would be hilarious if Ole Miss hired Mullen and he dominated. Dude is a douche but excellent coach.

I think we need to take the approach of recruiting first, and grab a few big time gets at positions of need. Instead of vice versa it seems. I love Kiffin, and am happy to have him here. I won’t be doom and gloom if he does leave though. I think we are in a good spot with national recognition, NIL money, and being in the SEC.

One thing I wouldn’t be in favor of is another raise to keep him away from Florida or whoever. His $9 million is enough for now.

Just bumping again how stupid “The Last Dance” was. Maybe infuriated me more than it should haha.

Ready to move on from this squad and build off Simmons next year.

Yeah that was always a mishandled promotion of the season. The first time I ready it i was like what the hell are they trying to convey.
