This pitcher strikes a bunch of guys out but he also walks guys. Looks like if we can be patient and really make him pitch to beat us we will have a chance. Anyone know how hard he throws? Hopefully 88 and above for fastball

I just don't know how I feel with Loposer in the DH spot.

Didn't know that but in that case yeah I approve haha

0-2 and you don't swing right down the middle....

I still don't know why they didn't give Dillard the green light on that 3-0 pitch. You knew it was going to be fastball down the middle to avoid a leadoff walk.

If Dillard catches that ball this inning is probably already over. That was a pretty easy ball to catch and Dillard jumps missed it and wasn’t close.

Yeah. Hoglund is a bit unlucky there, would’ve been 2 runs at the most if Dillard had caught that ball

Bianco leaving him in to get shelled wasn’t exactly helpful either

100%
Also, is it just me or is this ump calling everything close for Arkansas?

Van horn takes his pitcher out as soon as he flirts with disaster, doesn’t matter that it’s in the middle of the count. Been to Omaha 7 times.
Bianco leaves his pitcher in to “pitch himself out of it.” Been to Omaha 1 time in 19 years

This game shows why Bianco never makes it. He’s overthinking this game.

WHy is infield playing in down 5 runs>
WHy ?
that was an easy ground ball to a normal playing 1st basemen

But nah. Let's keep him even though he has pissed away immense amounts of talent year in and year out for two decades

Would we even have the administrative staff in place to make a change this year? Our athletic department is a joke

This game is an embarrassment

Man Caracci gives up fly balls every other batter. I predict at least one more HR

The team has given up. Embarrassing

Has anyone considered Arkansas is simply a better team than we are? They’ve been better on paper than we have literally the whole season, and we were the ONLY team to beat them at Baum. It’s hard as frick to win 4 games there, much less with Omaha on the line. We beat this team 4 times, but Arkansas’ 2 wins this weekend were the only ones ultimately to matter.
Bianco pulling typical Bianco shite is annoying as frick. I was ready to fire him for sure after Knoxville and while we still had an athletic director. Realistically, we had to make a super though, and we made a super. The season is ending about how I expected it to in February, albeit in especially disappointing fashion because we’d rallied to get hot again after the putrid finish to the regular season. Disappointing year, as usual, but there are worse things than being a game away from Omaha with your best starting pitchers being rising sophomores
