Houston Roth deserves a ton of praise. Dude came out and shut them down for 4 innings which let us save our bullpen.

I agree he got lucky. We can't keep hoping for luck as Bianco does a lot. And also agree I was worried about Roth coming in but he was on his A game. I hope they still have that passion and fight tomorrow.

Where is this luck y’all speak of? Doug made pitch after pitch. Was it lucky we scored 13 runs? No we had a plan offensively and executed it. Doug battled his arse off today.

Not taking anything away from his performance but that last inning he was gassed big time. We got lucky that Arky couldn't take advantage of that.

Doug pitched way better than his final line. Infield fly dropped led to the 2 run HR, then Dillard took a weird angle to that ball that would’ve been third out before they hit all those doubles in a row. He was a beast out there today

Roth was mvp of the game though. Finishing it out and letting the other pitchers stay fresh for tomorrow was massive.

I'm proud of our team but Dillard seems to cost us more runs than he makes per game. That dude is as slow as they come. Why is he playing an outfield position, again?

Not to mention his base running is probably the worst I’ve ever seen from an Ole Miss player. He gets thrown out somewhere by a mile nearly every game, and has ended up in run down type situations several times.

I wouldn’t go that far. Sure it’ll be nice to have an outfielder who can really field the position which is what I’m complaining about, but it’s going to be tough to replace him batting lead off next year. He’s set the record for walks in a season and his on base % and power numbers are insane. Would love if he could somehow be talked into staying and DHing next year.

Just woke up and I’m not sure how I feel about today. The finality of it is hitting me. Win or the seasons over . It’s that simple.

I mean is it just me or does it looks like he put on a lot of weight from last year? They talk about his great speed on base but it was almost non-existent this season. And he's slow to get to the ball in the outfield and his arm is garbage. So many times this season we had a chance to throw a guy out at the plate and Dillard doesn't attempt the throw. Then when he does, Coop would rather attempt the batter's putout on extra bases then challenge the runner at the plate.

It's a great time. We could be bummed or super excited today. I'm hoping for the latter.

I've definitely worked myself back into being nervous. I had taken a step back a months ago. Not anymore. Go Rebs!!!

I haven't been impressed with Loposer all year tbh. I know Graham hasnt been great lately but at least we know he has the ability. And Elko has so much potential but playing no more than he has, I hope he can get rolling on both sides.

I’m pretty sure Graham has literally not gotten a single hit off a left handed pitcher all season, someone correct me if I’m wrong but me and my cousin have been trying to keep up with that and that’s the conclusion we’ve reached.

So I’ll go with the rare approval of the Bianco hitting matchup here.

I don't like Olenek hitting in the 2 spot. He swings at too many terrible pitches and doesn't draw enough walks
