I didn’t see this posted or commented on anywhere, so thought I’d leave this here..

Bold words by Tuitt. As a fan I don’t really care for comments like his. How disrespectful. Those guys really want to play in an empty stadium?? I was glad to see Plumlee has a wise head on his shoulders about this decision.

If they loved Luke so much they should have played better for him

Y’all see that old row Rebs post on Instagram? Apparently Saban is in Oxford right now, presumably to tap up some of our guys

Honestly, no flame, but who do we have that he wants? He's short of linebackers. So are we. He's stacked at every skill position. He doesn't even want our fieldgoal kicker, which says something.

Nah. He's meeting with a few Oxford High recruits and probably hitting up Macintyre if I had to guess

I also saw where Momo Sanogo replies to a Sports Illustrated tweet with

“ Momo Sanogo replied to it with

““An Ole Miss OL” doesn’t speak for the team.. we’re still here, we’re going shock the world next season, we still love Ole Miss, we still love our fans!”

And Corral liked his tweet. So there’s that.

I mean look. I’m sure the players loved Luke. I honestly don’t doubt it. Firing a coach is an emotional thing for these kids.

If this was the days of past where news didn’t break every 2.4 seconds you prolly wouldn’t have heard about players being upset. But I bet right when it happened some players were upset but now they are getting over it.

I’m not really worried what a backup redshirt junior offensive lineman who literally can’t even beat out freshman and make it into the rotation has to say. He can leave for all I care. It’s not like he’s contributing.

Every time a coach is fired shite like this happens.

I’d probably be upset too, imagine how much Luke must have let them get away with considering not even one coach could be seen scolding Elijah Moore or at least mot letting him have the NWO belt after the penalty.

I'm just ready to see who ends up HC and how much we can retain (current and recruits)

We will likely lose some to transfer and miss a chance with some recruits. Totally worth it to get the right person in charge.

Panic over stuff like this is how we ended up with Luke two years ago

Maybe Tuitt should worry about actual contributing to the program instead of bashing the fans.

8 or 9 guys left the meeting early but most texted Carter today and apologized for doing so. The media are being idiots. Apparently, we are not allowed to fire a shitty coach.

Man I think had we retained Luke we would’ve lost more talent than we will now on offense. Make a strong hire Like Norvell and I would bet money 99% of the team stays

I agree but I’m really happy the right guy won’t have to weather the storm that Luke did. Clean slate and time to start winning!

I guess Tuitt doesn't realize that all the cool stuff he gets to experience while playing at Ole Miss is because of the fans/boosters. You like that players' lounge? Thank the fans/boosters. You like the indoor facility? Thank the school's biggest boosters the Mannings (who were critical of Matt Luke). You like playing in that nice stadium? Thank the fans/boosters. You like the gameday atmosphere? Where would that be without the fans?
