Yep, this is a good point too. Having Snoop and Parrish take reps in the backfield will help Ealy stay healthy if they do put him back there to return kicks. He won't get run into the ground and then be expected to return kicks as well. Hell, even Bullock showed some promise when he got reps last year.
Damn. If only we were this stacked at every position. Must be nice to be Alabama.

Though he’s not on the above depth chart, LB Brandon Mack is gone for the season after surgery from a foot injury.

Anybody else seen the video of DeSanto Rollins benching 500? I bet he wasn’t doing anything close to that last year. Surely he can help on the DL.

Not sure it would be official in a meet, but hey getting 500 pounds off your chest is no small feat.

Dude is a hoss. Hope he gets significant minutes this year

Jon Haynes has entered the transfer portal.

Not a big deal. He’s not an SEC caliber player. Being a multi year starter, him leaving means our young guys are stepping up and outplaying him. Never want to lose anyone off your previous two deep, but this tells me that our secondary is actually going to be pretty good this year.

yep. think this is is kind of like Jacquez's situation. Transfers/young guys coming in and taking reps. unlike Jones, Haynes probably wasn't going to be seeing the field that much this year

Yeah Haynes was probably like the 5th or 6th best safety on the roster. Jones at least was still gonna get snaps at LB.

Haynes was not going to see the field much unless there were significant injuries

I also think Finley will play FS and split time with JJ
Finley is a starter @ FS and arguably our best secondary player... Jaylon is a CB depth player at this stage of his career post-injury, IMO.
Speaking of secondary, it sounds like Keidron is being moved to safety for depth purposes. He's too slow for CB.

Y'all think Corral will be the starter?

Yeah Finley and Reese are going to be starting at safety this year. Keidron and Jaylon will both be running with the 2s but wouldn’t surprise me if Tysheem Johnson played over both this year.
