I’ve changed my stance on not overpaying him and it has to do with what you said. He brought a frick ton of money into the program and community this year in addition to setting multiple records frick shite Judkins held. Plus the optics of keeping him instead of letting LSU have him is good

If we do keep him I’d rather see him give up about 5-10 carries a game to somebody else who’s not a QB. Lacy running it 25-30 every game is a ticking time bomb from an injury standpoint just waiting to blow up in our face.

You can can tell lacy loves the community not just program.. I think that is another thing keeps him at Ole Miss vs him going LSWHO

If those reports of Oxford bringing in $74M for the playoff are close to accurate, there are plenty of people who should be willing to pony up some money for him.

I think that's key for local businesses to understand that it's an investment on their part when they give to the collective that it's a potential for a return on their part with additional customers.

I want Lacy back like everyone else and I'd like either Caleb Hawkins or Cam Cook to come in if Frank's unable to bring Berry or Durham with him.

Offf topic, but that economic boost is another reason why the playoff really needs to have on campus quarterfinal games. The fiesta bowl isn’t a major part of Phoenix’s economy, but an on campus game would be huge for Lubbock businesses.

Any game other than the championship that’s not on campus is bullshite.

Lacy is worth overpaying for. Elite vision. Elite pass protection. Elite teammate. Could be a true leader going forward.

He’s worth overpaying for if we have enough to lock up some help for him on the line and keep consistency everywhere else.

We’re not poor. We can afford it.

Hopefully we can land a solid QB. I'm not counting on Chambliss getting another year and Simmons - while he's a great kid with a cannon for an arm - is just a turnover machine.

The question is how much the clearinghouse affects the flow of resources. That bottleneck could be real.

Perception = Reality. Having an All-American RB transfer out is a bad look. We should do everything we can to keep him that way either

A. we keep him or
B. we force LSU to pay every dollar we can for his services

This answer is TBD on Sugar Bowl results. If Lacy is non factor against Dawgs again, more inclined to let him go. If Lacy shows up big time, gotta keep him.

You do everything you can to bring Lacey back next year. We saw what happened to the offense when Judkins left. You overpay for Chambliss and Lacey to keep them. If they’re back next year we will sellout every home game and Oxford businesses will be making bank in the fall.

Absolutely correct. Oxford businesses need to look at the NIL like a primary advertising tool.

Jamonta Waller is also getting in the portal, we missed on him to Auburn and would like to get him back With Deuce Knight now.

Cam Colemans is demanding a huge number I'd pass on him and pay some of our current WRs for retention

ECU starting OT to the portal. McCrimon is a 6’6 312 OT who earned first team all AAC honors this season.

We are replacing both starting OTs so wouldn't be surprised if we are a serious contender for him given we hired his OC
