Just realized OU has one of the worst rushing attacks in the SEC in conference games. Averaging 83 yards per game.

If Mateer isn't effective throwing the ball then I think we win 30-24

If we lose this game, I hope some reporter has the balls to confront lane and ask him about if his name in the Florida coaching search and his refusal to fully comment and commit to ole Miss caused a lack of focus for the team.

This is dramatic. It's causing the fans to lack focus, but we don't know what he's telling the players. People need to chill and just enjoy the ride. One day Lane will leave. Maybe it's after this season. Maybe it's not.

We have a game against OU tomorrow that if we win, we have a likely shot at 11-1 and the playoffs. Lock in for that and leave the noise for after the Egg Bowl.
Also, root for LSU to beat A&M and SC to beat Bama.

I really hope our defense (and Pete) steps up their game tomorrow. We can't afford for them to play like they did last weekend. Perkins needs to spy Mateer all game and not let him beat us with his legs. Make him throw the ball with that injured hand.

I think we need to consider moving Perkins back to his former role of QB pressure instead of the spy. Hell, move Sage Ryan to handle the spy role since he can't seem to defend a pass anyway.

Not a bad idea at all. His passing numbers didn't blow me away in the P4 games before he got injured and his rushing numbers are inflated because of how many times he carries the ball. 94 yards rushing for a QB looks great until you see he had 19 carries.
It sounds like he's just a big bodied runner so a guy like Sage wouldn't be a bad idea to have moved up into the box.
