AP is projected as a 3rd seed FWIW. That's with them getting the automatic bid, of course.

I thought you were kidding, but 18-3 in conference and 34-10 overall is no slouch. Still don’t love the scoring inconsistency - even when we score 6+ it is heavily concentrated in a single inning which can come back to bite you.

Yeah Elko's BA is climbing towards .400 and he hit like 6 homers last week. Their mentions under every FutureSox post about Elko are hilarious

We're currently overdue for an embarrassing road trip where we get pummeled by a middle of the pack team like Oklahoma.
On another note: Brayden Jones made his best appearance of the year Tue night. Pitched two innings without giving up a hit. Promptly tore his UCL. Will need TJ surgery and will be out this year and next year. See ya in 2027.

Hopefully Elliott can find his control today. The longest outing he's had is 6 innings against Eastern Kentucky back in February.

Sidenote : Neal got so offensive last week when someone in their live podcast thread called him out how he talks nba every show and he claimed he didn’t… like acted like such a bitch about it .. when nobody wants to hear nba talk
Every single day this week they’ve talked nba and he randomly brings it up.. it’s hilarious and I now notice it every show.

Elliot just isn't Friday night starting quality this year. He's a solid to good Saturday starter at best.

When you haven’t scored at all in five at bats… haven’t gotten close honestly… starting pitching is not the problem. In fact, the argument can be made that we have not supported Elliott AT ALL.
