Agree, but the margins on the weekends are so small we don’t have the luxury to let him work this out.. We need to see him slide to Saturdays and see what Morris can do extended. I’d rather have him go 7 innings in a start and roll the dice with the bullpen instead of giving him a deficit every single appearance and only let him throw 40 pitches.

We didn't lose this game because of Elliott or our pitching. We lost it because we couldn't hit their guy. And because we let throw an impossible complete game. Unheard of in modern SEC pitching.
So now they have their complete bullpen while we've blown through our two best pitchers.

3rd series in a row we've used our two best pitchers up in an opening weekend loss. We weren't gonna average 10 runs a game forever. Morris has got to be a starter.

I'm torn. I want to win the next two because regional baseball in Oxford is a blast.
But I'm also incredibly frustrated with this staff and how this team is managed, and if we drop this series I can just be done watching this shite show.

I'm thinking about to cross from N to I. I think we have a couple of good to great games left in us before we totally hit the skids. S will probably be a sweep by a mid-major in a Regional.
