Even if Tennessee sweeps, 1 more series win and no other sweeps locks up the tourney for the first time since 2022. And if bianco can somehow combine this bullpen with the bats from the rest of the season…

Man Tennessee came here and smoked us in 2022. I don't see it playing out like that again cause this team can swing it. Getting the 27th out is a completely different story. Just win a game by Saturday and try to take the series on Sunday. A 4-1 week probably puts Ole Miss inside the top 6 in all national baseball polls.

Which is wild considering how we’ve been so down on the team

I don't think any Ole Miss fan thinks we are a top 10 team, but here we are....idk, maybe Bianco coaching with his job on the line is truly magical ..

To be fair, we are a razors edge from being 4-8 so I think we have reason to be down. But also not that far from 11-1 so 8-4 seems reasonable.

After 6 sec wins in 2023 and 11 in 2024 I’ll take it

Our team is very resilient. Winners find a way to win. We don't look good doing it but we could be like State, losing a ton of games by 1 or 2 runs.

Good series win. That umpire was the worst I’ve ever seen.

Yes, and Kentucky needs to find a new broadcast team.

You guys make good points it’s much better to learn to win close games as opposed to blowing them

That broadcast team was truly trash. And the camera work was bad as well

Am I a hater? I still feel like we’re awful.

We're not good. But apparently we're gritty. I don't hate it.

I expected to hate it.

I'm coming around.

It's not pretty but we have 3 series wins out of 4. I'll take that any day over the past two seasons. We seem to at least be trending in the right direction.

Problem is our series wins are over three teams with a combined record of 6-25. The verdict is still out on us.

True, but our remaining series are against USC and MSU (3 combined wins) and then VU, OU, and Auburn (same level as UK).

And we don’t need to keep our current 8-4 pace to make the tourney or even potentially host.

Our schedule really set up super nicely this year avoiding Texas, lsu, UGA, and Bama

So crazy to think we could end regular season play with a great record and a high ranking and not really be very good.

The schedule gods may have saved Biancos job

Avoiding most of the landmines and juggernauts minus tennnessee.. we rack up wins and get back in the tournament keeping Mike at the helm with a team that is just average and nothing special

The new SEC administration has a few rivalries they care about but LSU/OM doesn’t appear to be one of them
