Difference is we have Kiffin as our coach and not Leach. Kiffin and our teams have a much higher ceiling than the pirate does

We don't do well in Fayetteville, historically.

Agreed, the issue with the Pirate’s offense is that it is what it is. The simplicity of it makes it difficult to make in game adjustments. So if your defense can stymie it like LSU did near the end of the first half, the game is basically done.

That botched punt was what changed the game. Tough to beat them at night at their place with a big play like that.

Ole Miss has held eight straight opponents to 21 or fewer points, the longest active streak among Power 5 teams

It reminded me of Korvic Neat against LSU in 2012. We probably win that game if Neat doesn’t fumble the punt. Dart is going to be a damn good QB for us and I believe he’s going to get drafted in the NFL. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s playing at a high level at the end of the year. He made some NFL throws in that third quarter. We really need to be balanced against Tulsa on offense and try to continue to give Dart more reps before Kentucky.

I think everyone in the stadium knew he was going to fumble that punt in 2013. He is the only player I've ever seen who tried to field punts with his chest rather than his hands

I'm not lying or joking when I tell you this....but that was coached.
I didn't work there in 2013 but in 2012 I was filming an IPF practice and they had snoop learning how to catch punts while holding a football in both hands.
yes....you're reading that right.
Catching a punted football.....while already holding a football in both hands.

Hey Pank, you work for sports video? I spent my time up there in the 96-99... of course we didn't have an IPF then.
Posted on 9/18/22 at 10:13 pm to Rebel Land Shark
At some point you would think they would have quit letting Neat try to field punts

I did from around 2009 to 2012. Was fun as hell except for the fact that included some god awful football seasons.
Got to watch the First Sugar Bowl in JerryWorld from the field though so that was pretty cash.

Silver lining the low is 58 and the high is 84 so it won’t quite be like sitting on the surface of the sun
