Well this season is officially over

Didn’t even make it to Christmas
Keith can not defend this. This program is churning its wheels in the mud and needs a change
Fire him and start the search before everyone else makes their moves

Bold prediction- we won’t win a single conference game this year.

Oh we’ll win a few but it won’t matter.
I have a few questions and points to make though. Where has Brakefield gone? Kermit said he’d worked harder than anybody in basketball during the off-season on his body and transformed his game. I don’t see it.
I really like Ruffin and he will only get better and better but he’s definitely a defensive liability. It’s a slight trade off that I can live with.
Obviously our best rebounder from last year Robert Allen is not over that knee. Not even close. May never be.
Where is Tye Fagan? He’s a senior and MIA.
Murrell is far too streaky. Not consistent in the least. He’s our best player most nights but he’ll never touch an NBA floor if he can’t get a little consistency.
Why can’t we score inside? We don’t have a single consistent, even semi-reliable inside threat. Zero. We can block a shot or two and get some boards but we can’t score at the rim against defense for shite.
Where has James white gone? He’s not playing much and when he does, he’s ineffective at best.
The kid from Texas, Abram, who is a freshman granted but was so good in Florida has disappeared since. What happened?
And most importantly, what exactly is Kermit’s offensive philosophy. I’m no basketball Xs and Os guy but looks like we just either pass it around a while until the shot clock is about to expire and then throw up something or we just try to beat somebody off the dribble with one guy and the others just stand around and watch.

That was a terrible game from our best player. Fouls, turnovers, missed shots.. just a dreadful game from murrell

Let me say it again…. Murrell is not clutch. It’s not in his DNA. Not on the college level at least.

This basketball program is in the dark ages. I wish we never fired Andy. If I was the AD I’d fire Kermit right now.

Just left the game. It was about 50% Tennessee fans with tons of Tennessee fans in our student section. #25 on Tennessee can get fricked.

They have security that allows students in so I wonder how they flooded the student section? It was hard to tell it was 50% on tv

I was thinking during the game it appeared we were outnumbered in our own gym. That’s a sure fire sign of a program in decline.

The fans have stopped caring under Kermit, which means a change is 100% needed

I used to be so invested with our basketball team. Now it’s hard for me to watch.

I don’t even know why the MRA kid who is so good wants to play for us. We better hope we keep him.

The women just won at Starkville and are 2-0 in SEC play. We look like we have another tournament team this year.

First win in Starkghanistan in 16 years.

I was shocked at that stat considering we lead the series. Didn't realize it was that long of a drought. Good for Coach Yo!

Always a bad sign when the topic changes to women's hoops.

Haha yep. Even though we did pretty good against Tennessee, if we continue sucking hind tit it feels like we’ll hear of some heavy dissension or suspensions. Don’t know why I feel that way but I do.
