Yup. Corral came up very short in the TD column. Looking at total yardage (passing/rushing) he was right there with the finalist, but without the TDs it wasn't going to happen.

This is true. The last player who didn't have eye-popping stats who won the Heisman was probably RGIII (although his numbers were still very good). Mark Ingram also comes to mind. However, he benefited from the lack of a truly transcendent passer and Boise State "fatigue."
Others who come to mind:
- Troy Smith (boy, was the media all over Ohio State's dick back in the mid-2000s)
- Matt Leinart (he had elite stats, for the day, but that trophy belonged to Darren McFadden)
- Gino Toretta (1992 was not the most memorable Heisman race)

I agree. We have a healthy team, time to prep and a better defense. It should be like our offense from the start of the season coupled with our defense from the end of the season. I'm excite.

Team isn’t traveling to Nola till the 30th. Was supposed to leave on the 26th. But I agree with why the hell are they testing but we now have a covid hiccup.

The better question is what will Latoya do? Will she follow suit to what the Democrat overlords have been implementing up North. You physically can’t go into any establishment in NYC without showing documentation of full vaccination (ie. Triple jab).
