Friendly reminder that HJJ has, and continues to say that the whole freeze/sanction thing was "worth it", and then turns around and starts attention whore threads like this. He hasn't responded to me yet about it, perhaps because he knows he's a fricking idiot.

If we don't commit those violations, however small they may have been, Freeze's phone records never get searched, and if his phone records never get searched, we don't have Matt Luke as our coach right now.

If I had my way, I'm hiring Freeze back tomorrow and giving the NCAA and everyone else the middle finger. And yes we could get recruits. Throw money around again like we were. Make the NCAA give us the death penalty. Id rather risk that than hope for the occasional win over Bama and 9 wins every 40 years

Nobody is wanting to settle for that. I think most of our fans are open minded and realize that Matt Luke is a bandaid.
And yeah, i don't think Freeze should have been fired either, but you play the hand your dealt and until these sanctions are gone and this black cloud isn't hanging over our program then we won't be able to hire a long-term guy to come in and fix things, which is what we desperately need. Luke will be gone in 2 years tops

Yeah glad Freeze recruited Denzel. You think we’d have that class if it weren’t for the snowball affect of Rob > Tunsil > Tony? He’s caught some major lucky breaks that even you can’t deny. Then he just completely blew it on defensive recruits after that which is why we are where we are.
We got the death penalty according to a lot of people so that’s why most of us are quiet on the coaching front until this shite passes over. I hope they fire him after this season but I imagine they’ll give him one more unless there’s a must-get coach available.
Like you, I don’t want mediocre and I also don’t want an average coach. I want a homerun hire even if that means keeping Luke around to kick to the curb when the right guy is available.

How many times do you have to be reminded that because of Hugh Freeze’s stupidity that we see what we are seeing tonight? None of these pie in the sky coaches you think were coming here were ever considering it when we got the second year and most of them suck too. It’s not the administration’s fault he doesn’t understand what a burner phone is(you actually have to get rid of it for it to work GOOGLE IT DANNY) or that calling hookers from your work phone can be discovered or that running it on fourth down with Jeff Scott wouldn’t ever work or sneaking into Funky’s and getting wasted to creep on twenty year olds is a bad thing when you’re tweeting about Christ 24/7 or that missing out on every premier linebacker we were in on besides Gates(we got him by default because he hurt his leg before his senior year started) and a bunch of elite d lineman would snowball on you in year 5 or that rushing tony Connor back from injury would permanently mess up his leg ruining what could have been a pro career or hiring a guy who had never called defensive plays in his life as your defensive coordinator because everyone else laughed in your face to a guaranteed milllion dollar contract because he recruited well for you in 2013 after you bitched about assistant’s and your own salary for two years got the money after flirting with Florida(he prayed about it and 4.3 million taxpayer dollars later he stayed god is good) and THEN HENRY BLAMES LUKE FOR THE DEFENSE
