I really hope that this was all just stuff that came out after and not anything that Keith knew about. I do know we almost fired him in 2020 but he went to rehab instead of being fired.
I'm no so certain that we knew of anything that came out this past week. I think people individually started dumping their shite. When it gets put together it shows a disturbing pattern.
I agree though. There's no excuse if we knew about it and covered it up. I hope that's not the case.

Shows a pattern how the community view him really too.. I think people start dropping their own stuff and KC did not have a clue about it. I think what we seen was just small part of it too..

Cut was a good man. He was 180 degrees opposite of Tubs and had more integrity in the tip of his pinky than Tubs ever did. A great players coach. He gave a shite and meant it. And he came in at a time when we were all down and did a good thing.

I'm not a big basketball man but I know a quality coach when I see him. It might be a good idea if at all possible for Keith carter to get ahead of the curve and lockdown Chris beard before LSU or kentucky comes calling.

Carter had a PI on Kiffin from the moment he came here. We even had his phone cloned.
That's where the Come to Jesus Meeting came from with Carter sending him to rehab etc.
But once that started to pay dividends, what do you do? Everyone loves a comeback story. Redemption and finding yourself, etc. It was a masterful job of PR work by Carter.
The problem was the Kiffin started believing the narrative that Carter created for him. That just shows you how disconnected the guy is.
Carter was still cleaning up after Kiffin right up to the end. Including taking care of the girls and their furious fathers. Once you build a fake persona, you're the bad guy if you blow it up. Even if it was bullshite to begin with

If any of this is true, that's not good and I don't condone any kind of cover-up. We should have fired his arse years ago.

He was a great guy but a terrible coach. We really did win in spite of him. He was a terrible recruiter too. His practices were just bad. Players just walked around and there was hardly ever any hitting. It was a joke. We all knew that once Manning was gone, it was going to collapse, and it did.

Pretty accurate and if i'm being honest, you're right we were average at best. As soon as Eli left we got Spurlock who took nothing from Eli.

If we're being honest, I think we all heard the rumors (well, most of them) and just dismissed them thinking it was just nonsense - and we did that because we were winning games. But, with so much coming out, those rumors appeared to have actually had legs.
