Yeah that was just an absolutely terrible strategy. After the first return to the 40, that should have been completely abandoned.

Is what it is at this point. Very hard to win them all, especially in an environment like this against a good team coming off such an emotional high while also missing a bunch of players.
Take the week, get healthy, and start it up again in two weeks against Vandy.
At the beginning of the year if we came out of the first 5 games 4-1 I wouldn’t have been too upset. We can really only afford to go 1-1 against UGA-Texas now and have to win the rest.
Luckily outside of Texas and Georgia, everyone else is very very beatable.

We get Georgia at home. We’ve had their number lately and Kirby is 0-2 in Oxford. I think we have a better change against UGA at home than Texas in Austin

Yeah Texas and Arch are bad overrated.
But I’m definitely putting this on JDB for having a dogshit first drive and the special teams coach. This defense is gassed from being on the field for most of the 1st half

Poor poor coaching today. We should be using Trinidad and the pass to soften up the run defense, not the other way around.
And if it was a decision to not go for touchbacks and try to bait them into kick returns, that is a fireable offense
May have made no difference anyway. Florida’s offense is just cooking us.
