don’t think this Ole Miss team is anything special but it’s a pretty solid football team

Looking ahead, this team has a real shot at going 10-2 and making a NY6 bowl. Which if you would have offered me that at the start of the season, with our schedule, I would have taken in a heart beat.

I think the Georgia game is a lot closer than we think. It will be a good game and no bowers gives me hope

really shitty punter.

Maybe that's why Lane goes for it on fourth down so much. Not much to be gained with a 10 yard punt.

We're 14-20 on 4th downs this season.

It's masking how bad we are on 3rd downs.

But within that same argument, you have to take into consideration how many 3rd downs are played in anticipation of going for it on 4th.

Not absolving our 3rd down issues completely.....but it's not entirely relevant to the topic.

Exactly. If you're on the opponent side of the 50 and you have 3rd and 7, you think about it differently knowing you're probably going 4th and 5 or less.

Watched a video of Freeze leaving the field last night on YouTube and I don’t know if it’s just me but it looks like losing to us REALLY hurt him. His post game press conference too you could see it in his demeanor and hear it in his voice. I’m not advocating for anything when I say this but if Kiffin ever did leave, and we offered him to come back, I think he would take it. We are to him what Tennessee is to Kiffin. A giant regret he wishes he could take back

Freeze looks unwell. I'm kind of worried about his health, to be honest. He looks burned out and exhausted all the time now. He certainly doesn't have that energy and passion that he had when he was on our sideline. I know his team sucks but something else is off with him... more than just football.

He needs an Iron Bowl win this year bad.

I agree.
He seemed pretty energetic and like his old self when he was at Liberty just last year and when he was introduced as Auburn’s coach. Losing sucks, sure. But like you said I don’t think it’s just that. I think the boosters and Cohen have already worn on him a little with all of the pressure he’s under to “win now”.

Hell he has even said as much in interviews throughout the season how their fans need to temper expectations and allow them to rebuild because they have a talent deficit (which is true). But they aren’t having it and I think he’s starting to panic a little and stressing himself out over it. That’s why they had the full contact practice on Friday before our game because he was trying to “mix things up and get the energy going”. He is lost and doesn’t know what to do and he’s not being given time to figure it out.

If he is given time by Auburn, he will make them elite I feel like. But it’s not going to be in one or two years. And that may not be acceptable to them

I think he's about to have a heart attack or something. I hope I'm wrong but he looks like shite.

I don't think he has it in him anymore to handle the pressures of a big program. Auburn is an awful coaching job because you aren't on the same level as Alabama but the fans still expect Alabama results. If he thought it was tough at Ole Miss, he's in for a rude awakening after this season.

And I don't recall any coach ever lasting for more than a few seasons after telling the fans to temper the expectations.

Not my circus not my monkeys….careful what you ask for because you might not be able to handle when you get it!

Now my question is when will B. Brown or A. Williams get a chance to play and WTF is up with running out a waste of NIL to limp through routes instead of those two?
