Funny enough Pete’s son and my little cousin are on the same travel baseball team and he knows my family well because my dad’s side is all from Cleveland. My aunt introduced me to him this past April and I was starstruck. Awesome guy. Talked for 15 or so minutes. Such a nice dude and very down to earth. He’s an incredible recruiter (as you can see with what’s he’s been able to do with the 2024 class) very soon it will be tough to even gain 2 yards on our defense. It’s the offensive recruiting side that has been slacking and needs to pick it up a little. Won’t go into details but he did not enjoy working for saban as much

I’m from the Dirty D. We probably know each other or know of each other 
WR recruiting has been the biggest shock to me with how good our QB is always gonna be under Kiffin.
But having a RB coach as the WR coach probably impacts that.

I expect southern to take a hard look at Nix once Will Hall is let go. I think that’s probably beneficial for both sides. If that does happen, I am going to chain myself to the manning center until Jacob Peeler is brought back here from Missouri. He’s incredible at developing WRs

Whoever he knows he is a lot more forthcoming with tidbits of info than the guy i talk to. I am related to someone on the training staff and he rarely gives me any inside info. We talk fairly regularly and he either doesn't share it or doesn't know a lot.

I get my name put on the list from him whenever I want to go to away games for free and obviously the parents players do too. Well, during the bama game this year Pettus’ extended family was in front of me getting their tickets at the office and the ticket lady wouldn’t let one of his relatives in because he was wearing an alabama shirt. Told him to go buy a shirt somewhere or figure it out. I thought that was the funniest shite ever

That's been the policy for a long while. If OM is giving you tickets to sit around the players family, don't wear opposing team shite.

Yeah I was unaware of that until it happened right in front of me. Makes sense. I mean how often does someone even try to do that. Idgaf what your fan affiliation is or where you went to school. If I had a family member playing against ole miss I wouldn’t wear our stuff and I would just pretend like I was rooting for him

I guess that makes sense. The number of out of state students that would wear Georgia/Florida/A&M/Texas/Tennessee stuff drove me absolutely insane when I was in school. To the point where I would stare them down and give them an angry look. Seems minuscule but that was my pet peeve

I would only be on board with that if they were here for grad school and they’re repping their undergrad. I probably wouldn’t wear my undergrad stuff around in grad school though.

I think I’m a little antsy because of either opponent or setting I felt like we’d be fine in the end with the other games. I was not expecting to beat Alabama. Night game at Auburn always worries me. I’ve seen us get bashed way too many times there.
