It's actually worse than that. If I had to venture a guess, it works about 10% of the time.

It works occasionally we have a big-bodied, physical WR such as Tre Harris or Tre Wallace.

It doesn't work otherwise.

That sounds about right. I think we cover the -6.5 and the under (62.5) hits too.

If we don’t turn it over we win by 3+ touchdowns. I think our defense is going to shut them down

I think their QB is going to break one or two big runs against us. But if we can limit the run game to just that, we should be fine

Good thing we don’t have a QB with more INTs than TDs. Oh wait…

If this was on the road I would expect a 2014/2020 type beatdown. At home we may be able to pull off a 2021 or 2023 style win.

The only thing I don’t understand is people saying UK moved it against our defense. They had 1 long drive in the 2nd Q, a deep pass play in the 3rd, and then a garbage time drive at the end. Otherwise we shut them down.

Remember last season when we played a bunch of exhibition games and looked really great and then lost to Kentucky? Well, Arkansas has played 2 exhibition games and looked really great. The thing is that people are over weighing Arkansas and underestimating Ole Miss. If our D steps up, our O will score. I'm not so convinced that this will be a close game. It probably will be but I think the perception of Arkansas may be a bit errant.

I would be worried but it’s Arkansas.

INTs were the reason we lost to Arkansas in Kiffins first year

it does need to be stated just how awful their offense and coaching is. I do think we have a decent defense at worst....but Kentucky's offense looked awful.

The only thing that worries me are the reports of Simmons not practicing this week. Other than the obvious of him playing hurt....or even at all....he really needed another week of good practice.

We need to keep the game plan simple to get him up to speed given no practice this week. Run the ball, easy reads, etc... keep it simple and let him play his way into the game

FWIW both our On3 and 247 sights are saying that Chambliss will be the starter today. Both released articles to that effect 30 minutes ago.

Vegas just moved the line down another 2 points too

Guess Kiffin could say Simmons had a setback at practice then

After removing him from the injury report altogether and to not even start him now on Saturday

Kiffin was obviously lying on the injury reports. Was never going to tell Arkansas his actual status. Only question is if the SEC fines him

I think it’s pretty normal to see how a guy does pre game before starting him

Oxford is slammed today. Just had to run to the store to pick up a few things, and man, this town is packed.

That undergrad population has probably tripled or quadrupled since I went in the late 2000s.
