I understand the frustration, but this is an extreme take. I’m certainly not in the camp that wishes Kiffin would bolt, but I will admit we aren’t exactly getting our money’s worth at the moment. That said, it may be impossible for that matter. Also, Kiffin is never gonna be warm and fuzzy to the Sip fan base. It’s just not who he is and if we think he’s got to win 9 or 10 every year to earn his keep, I’m afraid we’re shite outta luck. He can’t do it and neither can anybody else. Not in the SEC.

So you honestly expect us to win 9 or 10 a year under Kiffin or anybody else if we’re paying them nine mill?

Well we all know that’s not going to happen. If we paid him four or five mill a year would four or five wins be enough? Bottom line is if we can get 9 wins every two or three years that probably isn’t too much to ask, but you can pay the guy $20 million a year and you still won’t get nine wins every season. The competition won’t allow it.

Yes, otherwise, why are we paying so much? I expect a consistently improving team. We should have won yesterday. No excuses. Bama gave us every opportunity to win and our play calls were dogshit. How can anybody excuse the fact that we tried to establish the run in the 4th quarter with 6 mins left to go down by 14 points?

If we establish the run in the 1st half we win that game. It’s as if this staff thinks they are still playing Tulane. You need to use the run to setup the pass against a defense like that. And to then go to slow paced at the end is head scratching. I will say that while Dart played ok he just doesn’t have it. I get why Lane wanted to bring in competition. How did he miss that TD pass?
