This Spring has been really quiet for football. It's weird.

He can be our Damian Martinez. Assuming he can pass a physical. But the first year after an ACL is almost always a down year

It's NEVER been a big deal at Ole Miss. The absolute most we've probably ever had attend a spring game was maybe around 20k.

Eh. It was a pretty big weekend 2008-2012. The last big weekend I can remember was Freeze’s first spring practice

I meant that explains why his stats last year were bad. This year would be 2 years post surgery so hopefully back to normal

I researched a few years back the true recovery time of ACL injuries of impact running backs.

With the exception of 2 people, every single instance too a full year of rehab and then a full season of playing before being able produce results similar to before the injury(some were obviously never the same). The only two people were Erik Dickerson and Adrian Peterson.

So yeah.....not only does it take a full year before you see the field. It will take you a full season of playing after that before you can expect to see that player back at full potential.

2026 3* CB Braylen Williams commits to Ole Miss

Previously committed to Arkansas and from Tupelo. 247 had him crystal ball'd to State so a bit of an upset for us.

Starting Maryland LT Terez Davis transfers to Ole Miss.

The 6-foot-4, 289-pound Davis played in 10 games as a true freshman last season, starting two at left tackle. He allowed just one quarterback sack and two quarterback pressures in his 292 snaps with the Terrapins.

We need as many lineman as possible after the abortions we’ve witnessed the past few years

While I agree… we need actual lineman who can play and aren’t sitting on the sidelines wasting space

Depth that never plays isn’t actual depth but a waste of everyone’s time . We have too much of that. Guys that have been here for multiple years and never play .

You are correct. Competency is in short supply in that position group. It’s ironic that the offensive side of the ball is where we have been worried.
