It's been fun watching the Alabama meltdown. I'm just happy that if we were left out, they were too. None of us deserved it but we deserved it more than they did. I'm sorry, but a 3 point fluke loss to Kentucky is not as bad as a 21 point arse whipping loss to Oklahoma.

Our loss to UK was not a fluke. We were 1-10 on third downs and held to less than 100 rushing yards. UK purposefully held the ball for nearly 2/3rds of the game.

Ole Miss and South Carolina both had better cases than Alabama. Made the mistake of checking the SECR and saying otherwise clearly means you’re obsessed with Alabama

Who would have thought the men’s basketball team would be ranked higher than the football team. By the AP at least. Which begs the question, who is the better coach, Kiffin or Beard?

I had my polls off. I should have said coaches poll not AP on the basketball side. Nonetheless...

They took the lead on a forward fumble with like a minute to go in the game.

Does not matter. Kentucky should have never been in the game. When we can't buy a third down conversion, are busy finding new ways to not have a running game, and can't score inside the 20 yard line, we are going to lose the game.

And it's for this reason I would have been worried about us embarrassing ourselves in the playoffs.

Would rather embarrass ourselves in the playoffs than win the Gator Bowl by 50 though

No shite. The OU loss for Alabama was still worse. That's my point. I never said that our loss wasn't bad. The difference was that Alabama looked like they didn't even belong on the field with OU. We haven't had a game like that since the UGA game last season.

Did you miss the part where we were 1/10 on third down against and held to less than 100 rushing yards by a 4-8 team? A "fluke" implies there is some luck. They whipped us up front the entire game. There was no luck involved. Just our players doing their douchebag slam dunk on the sideline bullshite.

I get that that Alabama loss to Oklahoma was bad, but at least it was on the road. We didn't exactly destroy the Sooners at our place and our shite show first half left us trailing at the half. I have always thought had that game been in Norman our asses might have been in real trouble.

I think Kentucky was the worse loss, but I still can't figure out how we lost that LSU game.

This will go down as the ultimate ifs and buts season in our football history. Unless we somehow one up it next year. That said, yeah, we totally let LSU off the hook in the first half. Game should have been over.

We will make it there eventually. It’s just going to happen. We are better set up to do so than half the conference.

Beard might be a top 5 basketball coach, going with him

Not to say I wouldn't help Brian Kelly pack to bring in Kiffin.

Kiffin or Beard

Beard and it's not even close.

I heard someone interviewed when we hired him. And they explained him this way:

"Chris Beard has no life. He doesn't have any friends. He doesn't have any hobbies. He's not married. All he is, is a basketball coach. It's all he thinks about. It's all he does. He's a total gym rat. He's a machine."

That's how you want someone talking about your surgeon or your coach. Like I don't give a frick is he has a personality or if he's fun on the golf course or if he gives good interviews.
