Buddy of mine is Duke grad so we may go. Didn’t expect that bowl matchup at all.

I see our bowl game as a preseason game for next season and it gives us an opportunity to see who will be getting snaps next season.

Pre transfer portal, I’d agree with your assessment, but now I’m not nearly as optimistic

Between the December transfer portal opening up and then the one for next year, we really don’t know who’s gonna stick around or who we will add for the fall

Could still look radically different with mass exodus of talent in and out of the program

Why don’t you do it somewhere is instead of enabling this team?

No Surprise:

BREAKING: Ole Miss QB Walker Howard plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, @PeteNakos_ reports. The class of 2022 Top-50 recruit started his career at LSU.

Expect him to end up at like a Louisiana Lafayette type school. Maybe Tulane since their QB just left.

ULL would be a good spot for him. He got beat out for the backup job at LSU and OM so probably time to admit he needs to drop down a level if he wants to start

We need to snag that TE from Arky.

Think we’ll probably go after Odom from Bama, we were his number 2 and almost had him flipped. I would prefer the guy from Arkansas though, or better yet both!

Understandable. I hate it for the kid and hope he has a chance somewhere.

The Bama kid plays WR and the Hog is a TE…..

I’m aware, but both us and Bama recruited him as a TE. He was a tight end coming out of high school. Their coaching staff likes bigger bodied wideouts and he was poor at blocking so they moved him to WR. He performed poorly and couldn’t get separation. I could be totally incorrect but I think we would put him back at TE and work on his blocking.

Well guys, 2 years of goodness on this thread is about to come to an end. I think next season, I'll do a new thread. Who knew that mojo can run out? I should have started a new thread for refreshed MOJO.

Wright has another year of eligibility and Odom can back him up for a year. It gives Odom a year to add weight and work on his blocking. As long as Odom isn’t asking for a big pay day it makes a lot of sense.

Maybe this is finally the year where Hudson Wolfe’s glass bones remain intact and we can get some production out of him. If so, we’d be fairly stacked at TE.

Certainly wouldn't bet on it. We definitely need to bring in a high end TE 2 to pair with Wright.

We never recruited him as a TE. The only reason why Bama got him is Saban said they would try him at WR.

I actually think we need to only portal proven TE’s and not projects. As far as his performance at WR where are you getting the information about not being able to separate?
