If there’s one person I don’t want after our players, it’s Freeze. I love Lane but Freeze will run circles around him in recruiting along with a fat sack of cash

That might have been true at one point but lane has proof of concept and the collective can go toe to toe with anyone right now. And Golding > whatever Freeze has to offer

We were a top 10 scoring defense in the country. Yes, NIL is a big factor, but coaching was key too.
The best defense we played all year was South Carolina and we scored 27 points against them. Our defense was good enough that 27 points per game on offense would have meant an 11-1 record (12-0 if you throw out Arkansas garbage time). That’s insane for us historically.
