I don’t want us to play in a bowl game if we aren’t in the playoff. The amount of players that will opt out will basically guarantee we get smacked by Colorado or BYU

No way we’d turn down what would still be a top tier bowl game. Does it excite me? No. But we’d still go, and I’d still watch.

I want us to accept it as we get next year's starters some practice and actual game time.

But I fully expect us to comfortably lose our bowl game

That's funny. I have the opposite opinion. I don't want a single senior to play in the bowl game. I want this to be the first game of our 2025 season with Simmons playing 4 full quarters.

I’m not sure we can field a 2 deep if that happens but I agree Dart shouldn’t take another snap in an Ole Miss uniform. They need to give Simmons all the 1st team reps in practice and let him get game reps in before next year.

It's amazing how fast the OM win over Georgia by 18 and the Bama loss to OU by 21 was forgotten by the coaches. The Bama bump still exists.

Don’t forget dominating USCe 27-3 at their place and it not mattering. H2H doesn’t matter anymore is what we learned this season.

I think we will be playing Illinois in one of the Florida bowls

Watch South Carolina not jump Bama, but they will jump us. That’s where I kinda get irked!

ESPN projection has us 13, Alabama 12 and SC 14.

They have Miami 11, which would be utter bull if those frauds get in over the 3-loss SEC teams. Miami has zero ranked wins and had to sweat out last second wins over bad Cal and Virginia Tech teams, but the committee has been in love with them all year

I'd rather they put Miami as the last in than have to watch 3 loss Alabama get in over us. If we're not getting in then I don't want either of the other three loss SEC teams to get it.

Misery loves company

Don't see any chance of that happening, even if they jump us

What will stick with me is if we end up at 12 and the first team out, and could have snuck in if Ga Tech finished the job against UGA

I’d rather Miami than Bama or SC. I get that they’re frauds, but frick anyone else in this conference being happy.

I totally see us being 12 lol The question becomes does a team that loses the championship game drop out of the top 12??? I think I know the answer but remember what happened to Georgia last year I know a little different

The curse has to see to it that we don’t make it by 1 slot.

We are no doubt going to be the last one out. Our only hope now is that we are ranked ahead of Miami and USCe. Then by some stretch of the imagination, a team loses in the conference championship and they get bounced from the top 12 like Penn State or something like that won’t happen!

Kiffin is lobbying so hard for us on twitter

If only he’d played our best players that were available, maybe we could’ve won a game that we lost and wouldn’t even have to grovel to the committee for a spot …
