Between Walton saying it hit the ground and the Georgia Tech player getting up telling his teammates to hurry up and snap the ball, I knew it had probably hit the ground. Hell even the announcers said it

yeah it was definitely obvious between those two. Still blows my mind.

Probably a long shot, but are there any fan bars in Phoenix for the game? Or any just general sports bar recs?

Having to do some last minute traveling for work...

The Phoenix Rebels used to meet at the Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers location at 3950 E Indian School road.

azolemissclub@gmail.com is the group email.

Edit: They move around but will be at CBCB this weekend. Don’t expect a large party.

Predictions for the game ?

I just .. it’s killing me Inside knowing that everyone is expecting Kiffin to do wild crazy shite and he can’t help himself and I think it backfires like it normally does

We will absolutely get the ball first and go for it on 4th down deep in the red zone like last year and not get it and kill momentum

Hopefully with this bionic leg of a kicker we have he will utilize it and take points instead of being cute but I don’t know he if he as the restraint to do it
Bama 27
Rebs 24

:////// I hate this

Oh the absolute safest bet of all is on us getting the ball first, driving almost the length of the field with ease and then stalling out at like the 3 or 4. Going for it on 4th and two and coming up short. Leaving the rest of the game completely up in the air.

For shits and gigs, I put money on OM covering the -7 spread, OM Moneyline, and the over at 55.5.

Didn't put a ton of money on any of it....but just figured what the hell. They all pay out fairly well. fwiw i'm actually less confident in the over than the other two.

Oddly… The money line has changed in Bama’s favor, but the spread did not. I would think that the spread would also move.

If Alabama tries to get cute and throw with Milroe:

Bama 24 Us 17

If Alabama just runs the ball:

Bama 45 Us 17

I did too. I put a little $ on us with 7 pts. I expect it to be close as long as we play like we are in the same league as this Bama team. If we play clean, disrupt the offensive line, and protect the ball we can win this game straight up.

I’m actually pretty confident about this game. Of course that means we’ll probably get blown out, but it’s nice to feel like you’re going to beat Alabama

So apparently there’s a tropical storm on the east coast. Imma be pissed if there’s a power outage before 7pm

Seriously. In the best of years I’m like, “We might have a shot at a possible upset if the ball bounces our way…a lot”. It’s strange to sit here and think we might actually win in a fair game without praying for ten turnovers and season ending injuries. That said, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we get shite stomped and lose by 4+ scores. Bama often has a struggle game or loss early, only to use Ole Miss as the game they get their footing to roll into another Natty.

I'm basically in the middle of it. It's so far a big nothingburger but will progressively get worse as the day goes on. I'm in Coastal VA area.

it’s still a tropical storm but it’s just turning into heavy rains and flood warnings. There’s still the threat of tornados(had a warning in NE NC early this morning). I doubt an urban area like Arlington will lose power.

Street flooding because of drain blockages is what you’ll most likely see.
