Me too. He is set to make 1.75M next year (most in the SEC). We could have our pick of OC's for that and could save a little money for NIL.

Ah I get it. I would have been pissed if I was a state fan. Imagine that same play in a week if they did that to Dart. There might be a riot.

Saban fired Lane because he thought Lane wasn’t focused on the playoff after he took the FAU job. Maybe history will repeat

Just read an article about how Ohio State might be screwed after losing McLaughlin to a season ending injury and it's very interesting how that related to Ole Miss and a case study for how to spend the NIL money. Ohio State has very little depth on the line and missed out on some transfer targets. I would have to think overpaying for a certain rb in the portal might have cost them some of those. Pretty interesting that late in the season we have a healthy 2 deep on the offensive line but might be missing a difference maker at rb while osu is going to struggle on the line but has 2 of the best backs in the nation. Guess we'll be able to see if money is better spent on the star rb or getting multiple offensive line depth pieces.

I’ll take a deep and healthy line over the backs any day.

I know it’s us patting ourselves on the back for how smart we perceive our coach to be BUT he’s said repeatedly this is more like building an NFL roster than ever before with NIL. What does the NFL value? It’s not rb’s.
Sanders last year is a different but good example of Kiffin thinking ahead. No doubt Kiffin brought him in as competition but also if Dart went down we wouldn’t have been FSU’d.
Everyone knows what he saw at Georgia. It’s not just the starting lineup but depth as well. Extended season, especially this year, requires more depth and not just a stud that’s starting. If you don’t have a rotation you’re going to be worn down by your 16th game.

Jayden Williams is removed from the injury report. Does Pounds keep the starting role? Tre and Matt Jones also have been removed.
