Tricky part might be the time of year.

I would assume that this would be an early game. We have a hole in our schedule for August 31st next year Would be a great time to be in Idaho. Then they can come see us in late Oct or Nov when it's beautiful in Oxford.

Boise is in pretty low elevation it doesn't get truly cold for awhile (depending on your definition of cold).

They’re in talks with Boise state. Definitely not LA but still could be interesting

Much better than LA. I hate that shithole

Plus Boise is only a 4 hour drive for me

It could either be in the low to mid 90s and sunny or it could be in the 50s and rainy. Weather is pretty bipolar here. Last opening day weekend for football we had a day or 2 in the mid 50s.

Either way it's 100000000000 times better than being in Mississippi for a late August game.

I used to have a customer out in Boise that would send me and my kids all kinds of Boise State gear and pictures from his cabin up near Coeur d’Alene If we played out there I would definitely give Bill a call and ask him to help me find a great place to stay. I’d like to take my son fishing on Lake Cascade and the day trip drive from Boise to Idaho City and throughout the BNF and back is supposed to be amazing.

I’d actually think about taking the family on that trip.

Loved our game against Boise in the ChicFilet Kickoff Classic. They had Jay Ajayi and thought they were going to beat us. They had to listen to Hotty Toddy the whole way back to the hotel on the marta.

I really miss that defense

Prewitt, Conner and Golson played out of their minds in that game.

A good half day trip is to float the Payette river in Banks. Eat at The Banks Cafe afterwards and get a cold one and the burger. Beautiful drive from Boise only 45 mins if that each way and all doable from 9-5 to head up there, float for an hour or two, then hit the cafe for burger and beer, head back into Boise. $20 a head for the halfday float as I recall then tip your river guide.

I wonder how big a priority Micah Jones out of Madison Central was? Committed to Florida. Not a great ranking but a good frame.

Seems kinda odd. Didn’t he just make 5star on some recruiting site?

This one is not very surprising. He went from a low 4 star/high 3 to a 5 star in the past couple of months so I'm guessing his offers and pricing have gone up quite a bit. Sucks cause his commitment made losing Caleb Cunningham not hurt too bad. If he was a MS kid or TN kid I would have hopes we can get back in it, but with him being from Utah I don't think he's coming here unless we are the top bid.

I think this has been rumored for a while so not totally unexpected. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to pick up a 5 Star high school kid, but so much is going to continue to change with recruiting. We all owe it to ourselves not to get too enthralled with it. At least not with high school kids.

50% of the kids who sign anyways will transfer before playing a meaningful snap. And that's across basically all schools
