Been a few wins down there for us but by and large we just can’t really get it going on the coast.

Beavers from Bay Springs isn’t Coast. My point is through the years we’ve lost or never really been in the running for some great players and apparently Picayune ain’t Rebel country. LSU, Florida State, A&M, Florida, even Oregon have grabbed them and it’s annoying.

I know a lot of dudes from Picayune. They're all Rebels. But it's very close to Baton Rouge and about 25% of the town moved there from Katrina. I don't understand the Oregon connection with that RB, other than flashing NIL money at him.

Picayune also has some big money Auburn people.

Yeah, sounds like there's more to the story.

Kam Franklin cancelled his LSU official visit for next weekend.

Sounds like he's all Tennessee.

Three-star interior offensive lineman John Wayne Oliver commits to Ole Miss over Auburn and TCU

Hee 6'5, 275, and out of Nashville.

Really beefin up the line this cycle. I like it. Size on both OL and DL has been an issue for a while.

Gotta hand it to them, they are doing some good work over there. And our “experts” are just 50/50 at best. Oh well you win some you lose some.

50/50 may be a bit generous

They predicted the entire top 10
in Mississippi would go to ole miss at least at some point.

Kiffin and the Grove collective need to step their shite up. Currently only 2 of the 14 4 stars in the state are committed to ole miss. 10 of the 14 are committed to other schools….

Can’t wait to hear Kiffin bitch about the fans need to be more committed to the program by giving and showing up the afternoon of the Mercer game when it’s 45,000 in the stands

So are we prepared to get soundly whipped in in-state recruiting by you know who along with a collection of out of state others if the rumors prove to be true? Always a crap shoot how some of them turn out but it would not be a good look considering you know who is led by a an unknown, unproven head coach while our side head is being paid more than handsomely and carries a good deal of street cred. There’s no arguing the fact that the historical top recruiters win.

In-state recruiting is much different than it was in the Freeze heyday. I wouldn't put much stock into it. These kids decommit and commit all the time. It's all about $$$ for many of them, but it's only June 2023.
