Agree on Partridge. I'm fine with giving him more time. He was the co-dc under Durkin and this is his first time calling plays. Seems like he can recruit. I'm fine giving him another season or two.

I'm already over Weiss. He was a bad OC at USF, and he's been a bad OC this year. Adds nothing to recruiting either. Go pick up someone like Warren Ruggiero or see if Josh Gattis already wants out of Miami.

Lest we forget, many on this board (including me) were ready to dump Durkin after Arkansas last year. Now people want to break the bank to bring him back. Not saying Patridge is the guy, but a couple of good performances and perceptions will change

I would rather take that 5* MS Freshman DT and a couple athletic DEs in the portal from A&M than Durkin.

Partridge deserves more time. But Weis has been a disaster since day 1. I have no idea what Kiffin was thinking hiring him

As this thread has gotten completely away from it's actual title, here's my attempt to get it back on track. The running back from Picayune, Donte Dowdell, needs to say the heck with Oregon and come to us. At which time we move him to linebacker which we need big time. That would not only allow his draft stock to rise exponentially but also add years to a potential NFL career as opposed to running back.

I'm sure he's itching for a position change.

Have any of the Southern players who bolted to Oregon panned out?

Previously offensive coordinator under Kiffin at FAU so he knew the system. They're having to do what they can to mask the warts.

I would think the fact that Judkins is having a huge impact as a true freshman while sharing with Z. Evans will be a benefit. Also hard for a kid from MS. to not kick the tires on Oregon. Change of scenery and a lot of nice swag to go along with it.

Jamel Johnson just decommitted from Texas and a national 247 guy just crystal balled him to us.

Consensus 4* safety out of Texas.

Anyone know who all is going to be at the game this weekend? I saw on Twitter where the recruiting section is sold out so presumably we’ll have a good bit of high profile guys in town?

JQ Hardaway - 4* Freshman CB at Cinci and from Georgia just announced he's transferring. Lane appears to be all about that on Twitter.

Played some as a freshman and would likely be a starter for us next year if he transfers here.

Clowney hits the portal. I had such high hopes for him. Wonder why he never developed?

Wasn’t he always thin? I thought he came in under 200lbs and we thought we could add bulk.
