I said Knox would be taken in the second round back when the season ended. Going 96th. It’s amazing how bad we actually were with brown, Metcalf, knox and Little all being drafted so far and we still have tuamu, Patterson and lodge to go.

He wanted it bad. Sure wish he'd stayed healthier while a Rebel. I hope he lights it up in the NFL.

I get why people blame Freeze for Longo but you’re wrong if you think he was just gunna hand everything over to him.

So you think we are going to tear it up now that the alb albatross of Longo has moved on to UNC? I've got new for you, when Freeze's players are gone, Luke won't win one SEC game.

We had four players taken on Day 2, all on offense, two of which certainly should’ve been first rounders, and they were all victim of playing in one of the least effective scoring offenses in the country. Terrence Metcalf should fricking kill Longo where he stands

Kinda surprised Lodge didn’t get drafted. Taken as a UDFA by the Bucs.

Boy, I tell ya, the NFL coaches really lost faith in our guys. I hope to Hell we can learn something from this. I don’t give two hoots about the NFL but if our level of college success is in anyway related to their viewpoint of us, we gotta do some shite better. Metcalf, Brown, Little, Lodge, etc were some exceptional talents and for their stock to drop like it did speaks volumes of how little we accomplished over the last couple years. The NCAA is partly to blame, but so are we.

If you think Freeze is the reason for our offensive woes under Longo, you're high. Freeze would have never given him full control

Yes, Freeze hired him but Freeze also ran his own offense that was very effective. There's no way that he would have given Longo the reins.

I get the Freeze proponents point of view that he would not have turned over the reigns but in fairness to Luke freeze leaving put Luke in a no win situation! I see your point a agree wholeheartitily and surely you see where that tied Luke's hands.

Again for new readers I was not a Luke supporter but fair points are fair points.

Luke was also given the right to replace them when he got the official HC position. He chose to keep them. And then he kept them throughout the entire season. 2018 football was all on Luke.

I am not so sure on that. I believe the pay outs were part of this deal that he couldn't get rid of McGriff or Longo for a year. Now where you do have a point here is if Luke said I wil take less money if I can get 2 new coordinators NOW and he didn't do that! We simply won't know what all the behind the scenes transactions were taking place.

You do have to admit Freeze locked those two anchors on us, there is no disputing that.

Freeze has been gone now for two seasons and some still refuse to think any of this is Luke’s fault. Luke has always been a terrible coach and nothing makes me believe he will turn the program back around.

I am not saying Luke is the next Vaught but at the same time I do believe both sides need to be heard to be fair. That is all. And while it was two seasons it still isn't 2 years since he left.
On the flip side not geting rid of the Strength and conditioning coach is completely n Luke. We have been pushed around for 2 years.

I don’t think Luke could out coach Nutt. If Nutt was blindfolded and kicked in the Nutts every play.

Luke has had two full seasons and two recruiting cycles to let us see the type of coach he is. He sucks and will not get any better.

Luke hasn’t had two “level playing field” seasons yet due to sanctions.
