100% gone. That statement killed any confidence I had.
Saying there will be an announcement on Saturday after the game means a decision has 100% been made and if it was good for us, they would have announced it.

Unbelievable two grown men got together and decided this is the best course of action. As a rival fan I would think this only heightens the distractions for the team.

If he’s going, he can go on and go. Don’t need him to stick around for a week and suck up all the oxygen around the program and matchup and rivalry even more

They didn’t. One of them holds all the cards and won’t commit.
Another thing - KC said the decision is “expected” next Saturday. That’s not a guarantee.

The only thing that makes sense to me is he has STILL not made up his mind. If he already made the decision to stay, it would’ve been announced. If he made the decision to go already, then neither he nor LSU would want him wasting a week coaching this team when he could be recruiting current players to stay and building a staff.
