We've made a very strange ally in all of this. Dan Wolken of all people came out with this article:

I was always told no. Everything was a no.

This is all super plain and simple.

CLK is an undeniable rock star and the biggest coaching name in college football- period end of story. He is currently ours to loose. Financially speaking CLK 's personality and program success has doubled enrollment at Ole Miss and caused a student housing crises with real estate through the roof.(and making lots of people including the university stupid money). Ole Miss would be retarded not to make him the highest paid coach in the country under a long term guaranteed contract with an arse biting buy out. I am talking Jimbo type stupid. Worse case scenario we would have to weather through 5 or 6 years of shitty seasons if he flamed out which is not likely (and its not like we haven't gone through that situation before and without him it is all but certain to happen again). Someone here is going to say we can't make him the highest paid because blah blah blah but based on the financial reality of what it is going to take for our program to stay relevant going forward, I will guaranty you that what ever it takes to make him highest paid now will look like a bargain in 2 to 3 years.

Also the boob fairy comes to visit which is a nice bonus. I should've sold the breast milk in hindsight because that shite was going for like 4 dollars an ounce during the plandemic. I calculated I had about 90 grand in my freezer summer of 20.

Dang. I must have thrown out $100k worth of titty juice during the Wuhan Flu. I had no clue.

Sure Jan,

As they say it takes a big man to cry but it takes an even a bigger man to laugh at that man. I am laughing.

Kindly speak substantively to the take and please calmly prove me wrong - biatch.

My understanding is that Freeze tried to bring it in from the tap but that was frowned upon. Something about 1-800-tittymilk showing up on the phone bill got him fired.

What are y’all’s thoughts on this supposed $13.5 million offer from Florida? i say offer him $14 million and be done with it on all fronts if true.

I think that may have just been bullshite because only 1 fan site reported it and nobody reputable really ran with it yet. At least I haven't seen that.

But even if they did, it just seems like we would match or exceed that figure. We knew this round was going to be very expensive. I think we are prepared to offer more. If we don't want this to keep happening every other year, we need to pay that much or more and simply make him too expensive to try to poach.

Yep, that’s a good point. May not be true. I suppose time will tell.

I think it's complete bullshite. I think the "experts" on podcasts and sports talk shows love to fan the flames because it gets people to look at them and stirs up conversation that's utter poison. I think it's a massive distraction and it's completely intentional to be such. I think the Florida fan base is a rabid, foaming at the mouth, lunatic asylum right now and they will not stop obsessing until they know and so they're feeding off each other and it's at a fever pitch of pure ridiculousness.

One more thing: I think it's pathetic when any school shits where they eat and poach a head coach from another program within their own conference. Lane wasn't a big enough of a splash hire for the frickin gators when he was at FAU. They've got no imagination, so they throw out money and talk about legacy, for however short it was and shite on us about it. I hope he tells them to frick off, honestly. I wish he'd do it today, but I get it. Get your money and i don't blame him. .

i understand that everybody with a job wants to make as much money as possible but this is such bs and if we implode like 2022 I will entirely blame him and be on the kiffin out train. You’ll be making at least $11m yearly. That’s enough money.
Not squashing any rumors while fighting for a playoff spot just so you can make another million dollars is asinine. He knows that we will pay top dollar for him, he basically just has to give a number and we’ll match it. There’s zero benefit to letting the rumor mill catch fire if he genuinely wants to be in Oxford.
I’m not too worried about it. I personally think he stays, but if he goes I have no doubt we will be an attractive option for coaches all over the country.

We’re showing every coach in the country we’re committed to winning at the highest level however this plays out.
