LSU has get a answer today our their recruiting is set back for sure. No way they can keep a class together without a HC name.

We are still riding so he has plenty to stay for. We win a game of chicken.

I’m at peace with whatever he decides. I prefer he stays because he has shown he can get us into championship contention. Another coach probably could but it’s an unknown.

Probably moot anyway.

Aside from the coaching aspect of it, has anyone considered the swag we lose if kiffin leaves? Do we end up back in the classic navy blue and red unis? Not that I dislike our classics but definitely not the same swagger

The switch to powder blue being a main jersey/color has been VERY good from a marketing standpoint

It's been an emotional rollercoaster. Love him for what he's done for ole miss but to leave now for our rival is just disgusting, especially considering we are matching everything they are offering. I know he's the hot name, but if cignetti was open to leaving he'd be the one lsu wants. Clark Lea could have left, lashed, etc... it really is just lane that would handle things this way.

No matter what happens my main takeaway is I hate that fat fricking rat Jimmy sexton. This push from CAA in the media the past couple days is disgusting. Not surprised Saban would pull a 180 for the cash, but I thought more of herbstreit

I will boo him because I can’t wish anything good on LSU.

But I also recognize that we would not be in the position we are in terms of brand and national profile without him

Powder blue is great for marketing and history of us wearing the color.

It would be nice if Lane would be a true leader and not selfish.

Nobody on his staff wants to leave Oxford for Baton Rouge. Families are settled and happy, winning is happening.

Having a staff like that is very rare in this day and age of college football too.. With how coaches are getting fired after 2 and 3 years.

this is the thing the National media overlooks. We’re winning here in Oxford. We are actually competing for a championship this season. Why would the staff want to uproot their families for a much less stable job situation in a worse place to live and raise kids?

Plus LSU just put new AD etc in place.. He should freaking notice that how they treated BK after being fired with not wanting to pay him

he should but he’s not a normal thinking individual. Lane is clearly a man who lacks in the common sense department

Lane has the emotional restraint of a 12 year old girl. I'm sure Jimmy told him to do that, because Lane's image is going downhill fast. Threatening a beat writer wasn't a good look.

He’s gone..nobody has any real “sauces”, this is common sense..Is our backup backup plan to make Judge head coach mid December? Seems from post volume alone Pete wants to stay, but will Charlie?
