He seems to have scaled back the Twitter stuff. Not sure if that was on his own, if Jimmy suggested it or if Keith talked to him about it, but he's been on his best behavior on Twitter since Friday. At this point we just have to see how this plays out, if he really wanted to frick us he'd announce Thursday night he's signing with lsu and just completely leave the team in shambles for Friday. I think with his ego he's going to coach his arse off Friday to prove everyone wrong about the team being distracted. This is just the situation we're in. As selfish as he's been, I don't see him doing that after these kids stood up for him on social media. All the noise is coming from Florida and lsu people. His camp has been quiet since Friday. Thanksgiving is one day away so anyone who may have been either impeded or limited in commenting or offering their thoughts on this glorious shite show will likely chime in during the holidays.

Finally, everybody in need or potentially in need of a coach let out a sigh of relief this evening when Drinkwitz announced his extension at Missouri.

I think people give too much credit and criticism to the head coach when it comes to game performance.

With the players, 90% of the effect that coaching has on them is from their position coaches and their captains. Those are the guys they're talking to and looking to during the game. That's where their accountability lies. That's who is making adjustments, calling plays, giving praise, handing out criticism, making personnel switches, etc.

To be honest the head coach could be getting a blowjob in the locker room for half the game and most players wouldn't even notice.
