fricking same. Being the object of pity in a 10-1 season is infuriating. The joy is being stolen because we can’t even guarantee Lane staying for this extra week is actually in Ole Miss’s best interests. It seems we’re still capitulating to the demands of a man child as he’s walking out the door.

- In all likelihood we’re going to the CFP, hard to believe any coach would give that opportunity up
- Lane maintained he would discuss after the season, this is lining up and there is precedence here.
- I’m not going to start doubting KC now, if we needed him gone, KC would’ve kicked him to the curb by now
- I’m not at all convinced by the dribble spewing from the coon asses and swamp asses. The Brian Kelly fiasco has conveniently been all but completely forgotten about from the talking heads and I’m not buying it.
- You either have to believe Lane is a compete psychopath or he’s staying in Oxford. I’m not there yet.

If he takes any of the 2 jobs he is not there max of 3 years no way makes it too 4 years. If he can't get them playoffs within 2 years.. Both programs are trash right now going take longer then people think to rebuild them crap holes

LSU fans are delusional if they think the national media is going to be understanding of him leaving if they hire him.
Everyone except Saban on Gameday yesterday said he should stay and a bunch of national writers are already saying it would prove he’s still the piece of shite everyone thought he was before. His only chance of avoiding that blowback is staying with us.
And I do think he actually cares what people think about him personally now

I believe this was Keith’s play all along. He knew the media would eat lane alive for the way he’s handled this.

Thursday and Friday were obviously no fun, but assuming there really is no announcement this week I am enjoying LSU fans getting more and more nervous lol.
Also, Saban’s agent is Jimmy Sexton too! He is going to say whatever Jimmy wants him to on TV. LSU fans convinced he truly believes LSU is the best option when he is just playing his part in the negotiation

That guy graduated from the university of Florida. Lane really has damaged his reputation so much with this. At this point he may be best off taking an NFL job and saying that's why he couldn't sign the extension. Not sure anyone would hate on him for going to the nfl

Saban previously said Lane should stay and build something here, until LSU paid him $1mill to be a consultant on the coaching search then all of a sudden he's telling Lane he needs to take the LSU job

I do think he made a good point with how fricked up the calendar is and how none of this is in service to the kids playing the game.
