The fact that his kids are publicly flaunting Lane going to Red Stick is basically giving Ole Miss the middle finger.

Well Landry dating Weeks was the first middle finger. Layla flying down was a second middle finger.

Knox with the ear phones is just, well it hurts.

Oh don’t worry I’m sure the NCAA will see all of this happen and say “oh well that’s not a good situation. We will push the portal back to February to ensure this doesn’t happen again”

Saw this on Reddit from a UF fan.

“ From the Ole Miss Board and Staff writer:

"My guess is Kiffin said he hasn't made a decision and Ole Miss feels it doesn't have the goods to legally suspend him.

Unless damn near everyone is lying, he's going to be LSU's next coach and will be in Baton Rouge at some point next wekeend. I know a lot more there than I can report. Kiffin's deal was discussed in the Board of Supervisors meeting and the Kiffins have been looking at real estate in the Baton Rouge area. There's more, but I need to protect sources who have been nothing but good to me.

I can tell you the SEC Network crew in Baton Rouge for tomorrow's WKU-LSU game all believe Kiffin is LSU's coach. The number on the deal is somewhere between $14-15 million per year."

Looks like we may have been played.”

What do you think its fricking Kiffin --- KC is no cuck, he is playing 3D chess.

LSU Florida will try to spin this initially but eventually it will sink in as the full throated rejection that it is. DUH How can Kiffin not immediately jump into my arms - we are LSU - they can't understand wtf is going on. We know Kiffin, we ridding and smiling.. They will be sweating like whores in church this week. If KC had pushed this to a decision today they would be dancing in the streets.. LOL

If the NIL rumors were true, whoever we bring it will have plenty of support. Get into the playoff and anything can happen.

I find KC's choice of words in that statement kind of wild. He mentions directly that he had "positive" conversations and discussing "next steps". As an AD, why even include that if you know he's leaving? I'm not wholly convinced he's gone yet. That is unless those comments are simply a smokescreen to keep the fanbase from not attending the Egg Bowl.

That is Neal McCready’s melt. Was sent the screenshots as I’m an on3 member.

Screenshot isn't showing. But Neal has zero sources and has said he only watches college football when he has to for work.

Buddy, this is delusional. If you end up right, bookmark it and call me a bitch. Whatever you gotta do. But he’s gone.

Here’s the thing. I don’t care if Kiffin told Keith to his face that he was going to stay. There is no way you can take him seriously at this point

A few one score losses after a few failed 4th down attempts and he's out at LSU

Here is what a coach coming in has to work with. We have a system that can get players to win. I give Kiffin credit for helping get it started, but that people that run the system are staying here.

Only Georgia and Alabama are ahead.

I simply don't think Kiffin can leave if we are in a highly seeded playoff position, which we will be if we beat State. Beyond that I just don't think KC handles this the way he has today if he did not think this was in our best long term interest. I hope I am right too, but I trust Keith.

All I am saying for now let's support Keith's play.

I can't deny how good Ole Miss has been over the last 5 years, but if I'm being honest, Kiffin is the portal king. I don't think y'all experience a major reset if he leaves, but I think you'd be lying to yourself if you think another person can simply step into seat and produce the same results like UGA and Bama can. You might also be downplaying the recourse of current players following Kiffin and current commits potentially doing the same. That's just the undeniable nature of coaching changes.

I agree - there is no way Keith comes out with that statement if he "knows" Kiffin is leaving. All this comes down to the Egg Bowl. That game is going to be EPIC.

Everything else is BS.

Regardless Land has handled this terribly. He wants to coach the playoffs but also wants to leave imo.

The wording of the statement seemed to be clear he was gone (as were the actions of Knox and Landry). Happy to eat crow if I'm wrong.

That’s what this whole thing boils down to. If he was told he can take the LSU job and coach us through the playoffs he’d already have his house sold.
