There is only one 2024 prediction thread. This is one is invalid and should be taken down immediately.

This right here. I dare not predict success.

I love how order has been restored. Ole Miss in the national title picture and State with a new coach who will be singularly focused on beating Ole Miss.

My win probabilities:

@WF 80%
Kentucky 80%
@SC 75% (won't go higher than this for SEC road game except Vandy)
@LSU 45% (haven't won in BR since 2008)
Oklahoma 55%
@Arkansas 70% (trap game; haven't won in Fayetteville since 2008)
Georgia 30%
@Florida 60% (I think they'll be pretty good but record might not reflect it)
State 80%
3 x FCS/G5 100%

That's 8.75 wins. 9-3 is most likely, but 8-4 is more likely than 10-2. I don't think these are negareb predictions, particularly since we don't know whether or when the defense will gel.

That Arkansas stat is just technically true since we won two in Little Rock in the meantime

There's a good chance they'll be 2-6 or 3-5 when we play them so this might be a better bet when the game rolls around. I hate those frickers though.

If they’re struggling that bad, Petrino will be the “interim head coach” at that point. And that worries me

11-1. Would be very disappointed at 9-3. (I am just excited to even think of a 9-3 season as being disappointing.)

The only crazy shite I fear is if Florida fires Napier mid season..and then the Kiffin talk starts again, please, not again..

If Kiffin wants the Florida job he needs to ensure we get to the playoff to secure it.

There aren’t many college jobs I’m worried about Kiffin leaving for at this point, and Florida is not one of them. Their NIL and administration are messes.

Yeah, I’m way less worried about them than I was Auburn.
