Joliet Illinois

Many years ago we got off the interstate looking for gas late one night and near empty. Thank GOD for the patrol car that escorted us back to an exit with an entrance ramp. Immediately knew we had screwed up and it was indeed looking bleak for a while, there was nothing but crack whores and teens with goods for sell. . . no matter which way we turned.

No time limit. You just have to have entered the city limits or if it's a large enough metro area, then its environs.

Still sounds nicer than Trenton, NJ.

Port Arthur, TX is really, really bad, as well.

If that's the only stipulation, then my answer is Allendale, SC.

It's like the town was hit by Hurricane NAFTA and abandoned all hope. Seriously, it's like Bishopville and Hopkins had a baby, and that baby took a shite, and that shite was left in Columbia heat for a day while dozens of stray dogs pissed on it.

Now, as far as the worst place I've ever stayed overnight, Cordelle, GA.

The state of Ohio has so many possibilities but when you have so much pollution that Lake Erie catches on fire I think you are probably the worst. Cleveland but honorable mention to the state as a whole.

Where i went to school for 4 years
If you call that a city.

I don’t, it’s a college town.

The worst, probably Miami or Tampa
