UT football might just be the first P5 to throw in the towel for the season. Florida Gata might be the first SEC program. Makes me sick but we're going to have to accept the realization college football might now happen this year in any real aspect.

Yeah that’s not accurate. You just shop with dumbasses.

What do you mean it's not accurate? It happens constantly.

I just want to tell them - distance helps, masks do not.

Look at the Houston Med Center.

The one that’s at over 70% of capacity with non-Covid related patients?

If it’s like Montgomery, AL what they really means is ICU beds designated to Covid, not all icu beds. Local fox got called the frick out on that since the 80% was 8 out of 10 Covid beds not all icu beds.

They show the breakdown for what beds are being used by percentage for covid and non-covid, they add up to 100%. Unless you think they are just flat out lying about the numbers.

Proving once again that this is all a conspiracy by the Democra... oh, wait.

If the country had followed President Trump's advise about travel in January, we might not be in this situation.

If the Democrats had not been so butt headed and listened, we might not be in this situation.

If the media and Democrats had done their job and prevented or lessened the riots and looters, we might not be in this situation.

So yeah, you were right at the start

Yes, if only everyone had listened to Trump when he called this situation a hoax, said it would miraculously go away by April, claimed that the Chinese government was being completely transparent, and wanted to reopen everything by Easter, we might all have taken this situation much more seriously.

Why are bars being unfairly targeted?

I'm not a doctor, but I imagine that a bar is nearly impossible to operate while maintaining the current sanitation standards.

Bars must close today and restaurants limited to 50% occupancy.

Florida just announced the suspension of on premise consumption of alcohol.

How do you play football in Florida and Texas if you can't even go to a bar?

Both of those States got antsy around Spring Break and wanted to rush to reopen to jumpstart the economy in their State and have made things worse, had they merely held the line for a little bit longer and encouraged wearing Masks , they might be in a different situation

Both Governors screwed up

Now that Trumpf has realized how much he mismanaged this Crisis, now we see Faucci back on TV for like the first time in 50 or 60 days, when things were trending up Trumpf silenced the expert Medical Guy and stepped to front, now that this Crisis is reemerging , now he wants to throw Faucci back in front of the cameras

Bars & nightclubs never should have been allowed to reopen at any capacity level

He never called the virus a hoax.

said it would miraculously go away by April

I believe he actually said he was hopeful.

claimed that the Chinese government was being completely transparent

What? All I see are Democrats up in arms because he blames China for the virus which is "racist" apparently.

and wanted to reopen everything by Easter

Again, I believe he said he hoped to.

we might all have taken this situation much more seriously.

You say Trump is a "fricking idiot", why do you need him to tell you what to take seriously?

Also, what else should we do to "take it more seriously?"

Shutting down the country is not a viable option.

Well if you are wearing a mask, then you don't need to social distance.
I honestly don't understand the mask thing. Unless it is of a type properly rated for viruses, it does not protect in anyway against COVID.

Because the mask isn’t supposed to protect the person wearing it. It protects everyone else from someone who doesn’t know that they’re infected.

Yes. Non-n95 masks don’t keep out the virus by itself. But it does prevent droplets from coming out of your mask and landing on things that other people will come into contact with.
