This February will mark two years since I’ve seen the inside of my office.

At my job, we worked from home for about two weeks in March/April 2020. We've been back ever since.

Only went remote for 3 months in 2020 and hot damn those were the most productive 3 months of my professional career. Turns out I can get my work done a lot faster without other people constantly interrupting.
I got so much shite done around the house as well.
I miss remote.

I was at home from March 2020 to March 2021, and we are still required to wear masks when leaving our desks.
Now that they have had a year to look at it, if your employees can be effecient i dont understand why anyone would ever make their people come back to the office. At the very least downsize tremendously. My wife is an attorney in downtown Dallas. Her firm has an entire floor in a 10+ story building. She's profitable to them based off the hours she bills. If she doesnt have a hearing or meeting she can bill 4-5 more hours a day working from home than she can when you count in her getting ready plus the commute to and from the office. It doesnt make sense to pay 500k a year in commercial property rent. If you need to have a meeting just rent a conference room in a hotel or pay for a country club membership that has a conference room. Something along those lines.

Been back in the office since late August. Worked predominantly from home (>95% of the time) from the middle of March 2020 until that time.
ETA...
We had vaccination mandate that went into effect in Mid-October, and have been in face coverings since returning to site. Approximately 40% of the workforce is still working from home.

I've worked remotely for nearly 6 years for a very large bank. Most of the bank's workers are still working remotely, but will be transitioning into a hybrid role or back to the office role starting next year.

Remote since March 2020, a guy in my office was literally one of the first cases in my County, so they cleared the place out.
I've even switched jobs and am still Working from home. Fun times!

Both. When COVID first hit, I was responsible for the back end compute and storage to make telework at an enterprise level available. Now with things running well, I take advantage and WFH 2-3 days a week.
