Texas is actually a quality place around Austin and Dallas, IMO.
I won't speak for the border cities or west or east Texas, but Austin and Dallas are alright

To be clear: I like flour tortillas just fine. Only option for burritos. Soft tacos can be either. Just eating as a side, either also.
In enchiladas, they are just goo.
You people who accept them in enchiladas probably try to eat the husk on your tamales and buy Spanish rice mix for your rice and beans.

I have a feeling that the people bitching about corn tortillas have basically had Mission corn tortillas from the grocery store. A fresh made corn tortilla is a thing of beauty. Of course, so is a delicious flour tortillas.

My mother use to make tacos with corn tortillas. She would pan fry them in a little oil. shite was good.

Unfortunately my wife hates the texture of corn tortillas so I have to use flour tortillas for enchiladas every now and then. They're so gross.
