The biggest source of racism in Ms, La, and Ar doesn’t come from white folks.

has "the people in the northeast are more racist than the south" argument been made yet too? that's always a good one.

so you think that means all the whites were fighting in the courts? You are dumb.

I can't say whether Mississippi is more or less racist than anywhere else. I can say they have an ugly history of racism carried out by its state and local governments, and that almost every white person I've met from Mississippi loved the n-word. But I've lived most of my life in Alabama and sitting in a glass house right now.

Truth is, anywhere you have groups from two or more different races living in close proximity to each other, you're going to have racism. Whether that's in Mississippi, Oregon, Vermont, wherever. So it's likely that states with higher black or Mexican or Asian populations are going to have more racism.

Much less so than many places, being that we all live in close proximity to each other and have to get along.

THIS

We have a bad reputation and there are definitely some rednecks that love to continue the perception but the reality is that since we have had it in our face for modern history, we've learned to live closer and get along more than in the rest of the country. I started a new job back in November and had to do my first week in Ohio. I couldn't believe some of the racist stuff said by the folks in the Ohio office.

Well considering that you were arguing just a few days ago that trees are not plants... I'm pretty sure you are already stuck with dumb.

Thought i said plants aren't trees. It was in regards to the you saying updyke killed plants. It's possible i conflated the 2. There is clearly a difference in herbicides that kill soft stem vs hard shite.

Most consistently racist place I visited for work was probably the Idaho Panhandle.

Mississippi is nothing like people make it out to be. The idiots who claim it’s a racist shite hole with The Klan running wild have never set foot in the great state of Mississippi.

The real reason is to protect the jobs of the hourly workers. I'm surprised they aren't all unionized.

The laughable ruse is that it's for safety. Thus the Zoolander reference.

It's a dumb law that can't go away soon enough. You wait longer for gas here because it's illegal to do what you can do in 48 other states. There are exceptions made in rural areas after dark though. I once got tired of waiting for service and pumped my own damn gas before anyone noticed.
