I once owned cable companies in 38 states. We own a steel mill in Cleveland, shipping in Texas, oil refineries in Seattle, and a factory in Chicago that makes miniature models of factories.

1. Buss boy at higher end restaurant. Good job for a 16yo looking for gas/party money.
2. Irrigation and landscape installer. Hot and dirty job for sure. Only did that one summer. Better left to the Mezzicans.
3. Traveling Cheerleading camp instructor/counselor. Very few dudes and a crap load of the best college female cheerleaders across the country. I can't believe I got paid for this.
4. Bill collector/repo man. Worst job ever!
5. Bartender. Great job if you can get it.
Then I graduated college.

Well Logger - Worked offshore for Schlumberger back in the day.
HS Football Coach - I played college FB. I thought I would be a good coach. Loved coaching. Hated everything else.
Software guru - I was doing chip design in Silicon Valley. I was constantly writing my own routines to add to our in-house design software. I spun off my own company with my code and moved to Tokyo because 90% of my customers were in Japan.
Model manager - I sold my company and moved to LA. I was basically a bum, but an ex-g/f needed work to keep her insurance because she had cancer, so I helped her form a talent agency. The talent ended up being models and not actors and singers as I had planned. Never made a dime, but it was worth it. The ex-g/f survived, and my backyard pool was always full of "talent".
Company rescue - Stupidity hit me last spring, and I headed back to Silicon Valley to help a friend with a struggling business. I promised him a year, but we have passed that already. I really would rather be doing nothing.

2. Car Salesman - Sell cars lol, work 4 squares, learn how to pencil whip people
3. Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I)- after you spent 1 hour negotiating with your car salesman to get the car you want down to just under the budget you want, i sell you a bunch of shite you don't need and add 2 points to interest rate and make you feel good about walking out the car dealership paying 150 dollars more a month than you can afford.

5. Mc Donalds back drive - Thru cashier - Take orders through the back drive through and add 10 cents to every order under 10 dollars and 1 dollar to every order over 11 dollars before the electronic screens they have now, pocketing the extra money. Purposely give back incorrect change and pocket the difference. Create new meals based off the food in the freezer like the hamburger taco, eat french fries, mac to every cute girl who comes through back drive through, date the manager and while she is at work during the day, leave school and frick other girls in her apartment

Potential business opportunity? I don't know how it would fly down there, but Mexicans here can't get enough of the place. Seriously.

1) worked a summer at a nursery loading trucks with plants for shipping and also laying plants in the field for planting. Sucked. My supervisor and I were the only English speaking employees I had contact with
2) Warehouse worker for a medical records microfilm company. Not bad, traveled all over Alabama, South Mississippi and West Florida picking up a van full of medical records boxes and returned them to my business to be scanned. Lots of time on the road so I enjoyed it
3) technician at a civil engineering cimpany. Did soil samples in the lab, was on a drill crew to obtain the samples and also tested concrete and asphalt
4) Acid regeneration plant operator ( current) not the worst place in the world but currently looking for another operating position
