I casually asked a coworker in the hall earlier the question "what's up?"
She gave me the answer "the sky". What are some other annoying responses to the question that grind gears?

A long winded answer on what is really going on with their life or at least their misguided view of it.

An overly dramatic repeat of the question "What...Is...Up?" Or better yet is when you ask "How are you?" And they respond with the overly dramatic "How...Am...I?" Right around that time I remind myself to just simply say hi or give a head nod and keep moving.

I hate the cliche answers and like the real answers, as long as it's not pessimistic all the time. Then I won't ask anymore lol.
