Started keeping track of exactly where all my money is going and I was a bit surprised how much was going towards my beer

How are you calculating this?
Free Beer
Home made beer
Store bought beer
Bar beer
If you have a childhood friend in the beer business you can get lots of free beer and making beer at home is pretty cheap after the initial outlay.
As for non beer, this is the SEC so it is not like you can't get shine pretty easy but I am not suggesting you make it because I think we have laws on that.

I have never considered making my own, I drink and enjoy a lot of different beers so I prob should invest.
