It baffles me how death by electricution was considered more "humane" than hanging.

We need to go "Green" and hang them....Liberals should go for that.

We're arguing over whether or not it's ok to kill someone who is a murderer, a rapist, etc etc.

He thinks it's fine if the world is a better place without them, but my stance is there is never a good reason to take anyone's life, and it isn't up to any human being as to when someone elses life ends. Which of us do you agree with?

I agree with your friend, not only that, but I will go one step further and say that the late great George Carlin had the right idea. Take and group each type of sicko together in a area, allow a window to open once a day into the others area.... and put it on pay per view.. talk about awesome entertainment and climbing our way out of national debt at the same time!

It's ok to kill him. Sometimes people just need to die. It's like when a lion kills another lion no one thinks anything is morally wrong with it.

I like the idea of the death penalty, but I do not like how it's applied by our current justice system.

I want to knock a MF teeth out when he is staring at my daughter, I know what that MF is thinking. Not in my house MF.

Just wait, it's fricking torture.

But whether something is right - and whether or not you or I would do it - are not necessarily the same thing.

This is essentially what I meant I guess. A lot of people would do it, but I don't see how any one can think it's the right thing to do to take another man's life, that isn't a decision that a human can make in my view.

I've only been married for about 7 months but even the thought of someone killing or god forbid raping my wife makes my blood boil to levels it never has before.

I would easily take the life of that SOB

Once you move out of momma's house and have your own family you will understand...I have one daughter and will only have one child for the rest of my life. If she was taken I would get medieval on someones's arse

I wouldn't be opposed to taking their life (assuming I knew it actually happened). Especically if I had children.

No, murder is never right.

Yes, some people deserve to be murdered and despite my belief in God I cant say for sure that I wouldnt kill a man who raped or killed my wife/parents/siblings.

If that murderer or rapist is trying to practice his trade and I have the opportunity to end his life. I would hope I had the courage to do so.
