We're arguing over whether or not it's ok to kill someone who is a murderer, a rapist, etc etc.

He thinks it's fine if the world is a better place without them, but my stance is there is never a good reason to take anyone's life, and it isn't up to any human being as to when someone elses life ends. Which of us do you agree with?

I can understand the anger if someone raped one's children, but to me, and this is just me I'm obviously not in the situation so I don't know for sure what my reaction would be if someone were to rape my eventual child, but I'd probably just give him a good beating but do everything I could not to kill him. Seems like once you take another mans life there's just no getting over it, no matter what kind of scumbag he was.

No, like say someone murdered someone you care about, my friend says it's ok to kill them, but my argument is that it isn't our decision to make.

Of course it's fine to kill them.

If we as a society are better off without them, then what's the problem?

That's why you strap them into a chair in a meat processing plant and leave their fates to some creepy, random process. Like the roll of a dice or picking a poker chip out of a Crown Royal bag.

WHAT'S IT GONNA BE TONIGHT LUCKY BOY

This, unless your acting to defend against an immediate threat to yourself or someone else.

I'm not sure if I want to ask..

But murders and rapists don't deserve the greatest gift known to man, life.

My brother was killed and I wouldn't think twice about putting a bullet through that thug's skull. I'd probably sleep better.

I have a feeling I know what I would do, but until I am in that position I don't know for sure.

The only thing that would stop me from killing him is going to prison for life.

If I KNEW that I could get away with it, I wouldn't bat and eye. He'd be gone.

Well sure maybe he's nothing but scum, but I just can't see a mindset that I personally could have that would get me to do it. To me ya gotta believe that he'll get his when the time comes, but like I said before, to me it's not our decision to make, maybe some people have different beliefs, but I've always believed that if they truly deserved to die then they would die without me taking their life away from them.

If someone killed my wife or daughter I would have them killed... It would probably cost me 3 or 4 cartons of menthol cigarettes.

If someone did that to one of my daughters, I would kill him while looking in his eyes and when I met that POS in hell I would torture him for eternity.

When you have a daughter your thoughts change.
