re: Two do-all wedges…what degrees?

I have a 48, 52, and 56. Pulled my 60 out of the bag due to not enough talent to be consistent with it.

I'm not wildlife, but I can smell rotten bait when I do.
re: seems the portal could be fixed with the transfer rules.

Easy fix that would pass in court, you can transfer, you have to sit out a year, that year doesn't count against your eligibility. It would settle the NIL too. Schools would have to weigh how much to pay someone to sit the bench

I have the Ping G irons, Glide 2.0 wedges, and the G430 max driver and 3 wood. They hit well and are very forgiving. I really like the set and recommend hitting them. I had a set of the Ping ISI irons before this set.
re: How many of you are about to give up on college football?

I use to love it, now it doesn't interest me. Transfer portal, NIL, all the recruiting antics, I guess it's me matching energy. I go with my dad and will till he doesn't go anymore, then I'm sure that will be it for me.

I want to get a set of these, I will pull the trigger on them sooner or later. I like the old school lofts and the consistency of the lofts through the clubs.

God and Therapy work for me.
re: Do any retirees “miss” work?
Posted by lurkr on 5/11/24 at 6:41 pm
Some people miss the being a part of something. The only people I know that miss work after retirement didn't have any hobbies or anything to do when they did retire.
re: What’s your feelings on Nikki Glaser?

Shot up with so much shite on her face that only her eyelids and mouth move
re: Built a new fairway finder weapon for spring

I have the 430 Max, first driver since the M1 that I hit and had to buy. Bought the 430 3 wood at the same time. These clubs feel and hit great. I highly recommend them.

That one is on the smaller side and quiet. Lake End Park in Morgan City is a better spot. You can also stay at the Burns Point Park. Those 3 are within 20 min of each other.
re: Any of you baws ever have a nodule on your thyroid?
Posted by lurkr on 12/1/23 at 2:41 pm
4.7 cm on one side, 2.5 cm on the other. Complete thyroidectomy, growth was benign. 200mg of levothyroxine daily for the rest of my life.

Played it 3 weeks ago. I enjoyed it and thought it was in great shape.
re: Will LSU feel used by JD5 when he skips bowl game?
Posted by lurkr on 11/26/23 at 11:28 pm
No, him and a few others need to skip the bowl game, nothing for them to gain from playing in it.

All I have heard is get a solid contract.
One that pays you no matter what the market does.
From experience. Have them spell out as much equipment as possible so any changes to the original setup results in the ability for you to renegotiate the contract or ask for bonus payments.
This and when the contract expires or is voided that you aren't responsible for the disposal and cleanup or anything pretaining to that.
