It listed individuals, not families.

Gotcha. Jack Taylor is the founder, but he's now passed the reins to his kids and grandkids.

IDK why but I thought Darla Moore was richest in SC.

Lol. The wealthiest person in Mississippi isn't even a billionaire. Why do all the Black Bears brag about having money? They are a bunch of lolpoors.

Basing your state's worth off one family. This is why you are poor.

I thought the Ergon guy was worth more than Barksdale.

Hate that I'm saying this, but I've gotta go with Shane on this one. Arky may have the single richest individual, but Texas is loaded as a whole.

We have a billionaire in my small town of 60k.
He owned the Astros and was a shipping magnate. Super nice and charitable guy.

I had a supposed billionaire in my family. My grandmother's sister married into a wealthy family from Illinois, and he grew the family business. He lost a bunch of his wealth though about a decade ago, so I think he's just a millionaire now. Has a condo in Aspen, an apartment in Paris, a house on Martha's vineyard, and one other vacation home I'm forgetting. He's cool as shite and you'd never guess he was that wealthy if you met him. Wears blue jeans and t-shirts and cowboy boots 90% of the time.
